Winston-Salem, N.C - Eastern Washington University’s all time leading scorer took another step in his professional hockey career with a move from the Federal Hockey League to the Southern Professional Hockey League.
The Carolina Thunderbirds of the FHL, announced on Friday that Beau Walker (‘18) has been loaned to the Peoria Rivermen of the SPHL. Walker joined Carolina on Thanksgiving Day, scoring two goals in his debut. He has scored 10 points in his 10 games with the Thunderbirds and heads to Peoria in the midst of a 4-game point streak.
This is not Walker’s first trip to the SPHL, he spent the first portion of this season with the Evansville Thunderbolts where he put up 4 assists in 9 games.
During his time with the Eagles Walker scored 130 points over 4 seasons with Eastern Washington Hockey in the BCIHL.
